How to Book a Trip

From first email to the day you fly home — exactly how booking a trek with us works, step by step.

Booking a trek with us is done by email and built on straight answers. There is no instant-checkout button and no pressure. Here is exactly how it works, from your first message to the day you settle the balance.

The steps

  1. Send us your dates, your group size, and the trek you have in mind. Khumbu, Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, or something you are still deciding between.
  2. We reply by email within one working day. You get an honest answer on fitness, the right season for that route, and the price, not a sales pitch.
  3. Confirm your place with a 25% deposit. [OWNER: confirm accepted payment methods]
  4. We arrange your permits in-house, including TIMS, ACAP, MCAP, Sagarmatha National Park entry, and any restricted-area permits, and we send you a kit list. You arrange travel insurance that covers helicopter evacuation, which is required.
  5. Arrive in Kathmandu for a pre-trek briefing and gear check. We go over the route, the plan, and what you are carrying before you leave the city.
  6. On the trail with your guide. Acclimatisation stays conservative, and your guide runs oximeter checks as you gain height.
  7. Pay the balance. [OWNER: confirm payment window]

  • Single travellers are welcome.
  • Custom dates are possible. If the standard departures do not fit, tell us what does.
  • Travel insurance covering helicopter evacuation is required before you start the trek.
